And the bush has friends to meet him, and their kindly voices greet him, In the murmur of the breezes and the river on its bars,
And he sees the vision splendid of the sunlit plains extended, And at night the wonderous glory of the everlasting stars.

Wildlife Videographer - My New Blog

I have started a new blog dedicated to wildlife videography. The blog will show some of my ever increasing wildlife videos, plus have information on how the videos were taken, what worked and what failed. The site will also have information on software editing, video and audio gear,  as well as some of the techniques used to get good wildlife video.

Wildlife videography is usually so much more challenging than still photography. Heavy gear, good audio requirements and the need for an animal to do something interesting and stay around for at least a 1000 times longer than still photograph, can make good wildlife videography a great challenge. The rewards are great as well, where else can you record animal behaviour that no one else may have seen.

If you are interested in wildlife videos and how to take them, visit Wildlife Videographer

Fascinating--I look forward to following your blog. I am a long-time birder but have only recently tried photography. Browsing through your archives, I especially like the species of Whistling Ducks you showed. Black-bellied Whistling Ducks are among my favorite yard visitors and I'm eagerly awaiting their return to the neighborhood this spring.
